Wataru Masuyama (益山航) is a respected Japanese professional drifter known for his competitive appearances in both Formula Drift USA and Formula Drift Japan (FDJ). Born in Yamanashi, Japan, he has established himself as a skilled driver with a calm, calculating style and impressive car control. Racing Career & Teams2020 - 2022 Masuyama competed in Formula Drift USA, driving a Nissan S15 Silvia (car number 530) in 27 events reached Top 8 seven (7) times.In Formula Drift Japan, he has driven for GOODRIDE MOTORSPORTS (with EVANGELION RACING), piloting cars such as the GR Yaris and ZN8 GR862025 Jerry Yang Racing invited Wataru Masuyama to finish the remaining 3 rounds in Formula Drift USA where he adapted quickly to a new car and achieved his career best with a 8th-place finish in Seattle.2026 Wataru looks forward to having a full season of Formula Drift USA and will also compete in FD Japan.
